April 30th in Premium Themes by Wordpress Jedi . The number of Classified WordPress websites seems to be on the rise. Classified websites can not only be easily monetized but they provide you with a lot of targeted traffic. WordPress Classified Theme is another listing WordPress theme that enables you to put up your own classified website fast.

This theme allows your visitors to easily post their listings on your website fast. You can easily customize all aspects of this theme. You can change the currency or customize the fee. You can even customize your fee for each category. You can also use various languages and change currency for your ads. This theme support for 5 major currencies: EUR, GBP, AUD, USD, CAD.

I do like the fact that PayPal is well-integrated into this theme. You can easily charge folks without having to look for a credit processing service. You can also add your analytics code to your site on the admin page to track your traffic.

There are two features that I love about this theme. First, it shows your emails as an image, making it difficult for spammers to grab your e-mail address. Secondly, the theme auto-deletes old posts, which makes managing this theme much more convenient.

Twitter is one of those once in a life time (actually once in a couple of years) sites that come along and change the way we do things. Who would’ve thought just a few years ago that a micro-blogging community that limits your posts to 140 characters per post would be so popular. Twitter is great whether you want to use it to network with others or just drive traffic to your website. But there is more to life than Twitter. There’s actually Blellow. I personally heard about Blellow on Twitter. There was a discussion about Blellow’s headquarters being visited by someone famous, and I happened to see that thread on Twitter. I didn’t think of it too much at first, but once I checked the site properly, my mind was on fire. There is just so much you can do on Blellow and you can get work done more effectively on it.

Blellow is not a Twitter clone. It’s Twitter on steroids. It is designed to help you reach out to experts in the community, ask for their expertise, and offer yours to other Blellow members. Here are a few things you can do on Blellow:
- Groups: wouldn’t it be nice if you could join a group on your favorite topic and discuss it to death with others? You can do it all on Blellow.
- Jobs: looking to find a job? Are you tired of Hot Jobs and CareerBuilders of this world? Then try Blellow! One of the best ways to find a job.
- Projects: want to get help with your projects? That’s a piece of cake with Blellow.
- Meetups: want to meet with your buddies in person? That’s why we have meetups!

Blellow may be young, but there is so much promise behind this idea. I am not suggesting that you should give up on Twitter. It is still king. But Blellow is the best place to meet other like-minded people, get help with your projects, and even find new jobs. If you missed Twitter in its early days, don’t make the same mistake again with Blellow. Trying Blellow will be worth your while. I am sure of it!
P.S. don’t forget to connect with me and join WordPress Hacks and WordPress Themes groups on Blellow.

I am a web junkie, which means I always find a way to surf the web wherever I am. But keeping track of things can get difficult as you start following more than a handful of website. You can always use a RSS reader to keep track of things, but wouldn’t it be nice if you could get a SMS message whenever your favorite site had a new piece of content available? Sending SMS updates is nothing new. People have been doing it for years. But EasySMS is the easiest way to add the functionality to your website. All you have to do is install the plug-in.

EasySMS is a great way to stay in touch with your readers by contacting their mobile phones with news updates and content alerts. Once you install EasySMS, you are going to get a sidebar widget that lets you ask your readers to sign up for your SMS updates. It’s very similar to running your own newsletter service, except you’ll be sending updates via phone updates.
Sending a message with EasySMS is a piece of cake. Once you have at least one subscriber, you can start sending people your blog updates. You can also change the settings so you are notified as soon as people submit their phone information. You can also change the subject and even define whether you want to send automatic SMS to your subscribers when you post new content.

What I like about EasySMS is the grouping feature. That’s right. You can group people and send each group a different set of content. Let’s say a group of your subscribers don’t want to get anything by your news content. You can easily implement that using this plug-in. You can easily put existing subscribers in groups in the backend.

EasySMS supports most SMS services. So you are not going to have trouble sending messages as long as your readers are using a known mobile service. I am not surprised about the capabilities of this plug-in. What I am surprised about is that EasySMS is offered for free. And you can implement it under 5 minutes. Don’t forget to donate if you like it!
Your take: how have you used EasySMS to expand your blog? Have you had any touble with it?

If you have heard of the term Web 2.0, you have probably heard of Digg. Digg is a social news site that allows folks to submit stories and get it rated by other community members. Digg.com allows you to submit videos, audio, and news. But what if you wanted your site to be rated by the community of tweeters? That’s where tweetmeme comes in. It’s a great a community for folks who tweet a lot. When someone tweets about your site, you’re going to get a vote from her. The more your site is tweeted about, the more your score will be.

Tweetmeme plugin for WordPress makes it easy to add Twitter functionality to your WordPress site. Once you install tweetmeme, you are going to see the above button right under/above your posts. The nice thing about this button is that people can just click on link to retweet your posts and the content of the tweet is automatically created for them.
Tweetmeme is highly customizable too! You can define where you want your button to show up and the type of widget that you want to see under your posts. You can also choose to add your button to your pages and your RSS feed too.

Once issue that I had with this plugin was dealing with images. If you start or end your posts with an image, your button is not going to show up properly. That’s why only kept the margin line in the “Styling” section.
If you want to add Twitter functionality and voting to your WordPress, there is no faster way than installing tweetmeme on your blog.

I don’t know about you, but I am a big believer in testing. I have personally been performing split tests on my website designs for quite some time now. A lot of folks don’t believe in the power of testing or they just find it difficult to implement proper testing for their campaigns. You shouldn’t just limit testing to your pages. You should also test your banners as well. That’s where SiteRotator comes in. SiteRotator is a cool script that helps you get a handle of your co-op advertising and keep track of things without too much fuss.
Whether you want to rotate your banners or just want to test your landing pages, you can do it all with SiteRotator. It’s a very easy to use script that automates the process and helps you focus more on your testing.

SiteRotator is a very easy to use. There is no coding involved. It also provides guest advertisers with an interface to check the stats and their progress. Best of all, there is no monthly fee. You pay one time and use it forever with lifetime updates.
Overall, if you are looking for a simple solution to rotate your ads and keep track of things, you should give SiteRotator a try.
