There are plenty of social plugins available for WordPress. Finding one that does everything you need it to do can be quite challenging. Digg Digg is a one of a kind plugin that adds social media buttons to your website and does almost everything one would look for in a social bookmarking plugin. It is not only flexible, it covers a lot of those top social networks. It’s quite dynamic too.

Digg Digg gives you some options when it comes to adding social buttons to your website. You can choose to display your buttons before or after your posts. Digg Digg also has a floating button mode in which you can get a Mashable-like button effect on your website.

Digg Digg is developed to help you avoid tweaking your code all by yourself. You can just add your username from Twitter in the back-end to get proper attribution everytime someone tweets your stories. You can also pick and choose which networks you want to show first on your website. Just put the right number next to each social network, and you are set.

Many top social networks are supported in this plugin. You can even add Facebook Like and Delicious buttons to your posts or have them shown up in your floating box. In order to get the most out of Digg Digg, you want to make sure you adjust the position of your buttons by changing the margin information in this plugin’s back-end.

You don’t want to add every single button to your website. You are probably better off testing different settings to find out which buttons are performing the best for your website. This plugin is flexible enough to let you test only certain categories on your website.

Digg Digg is one of the best plugins in its category. It is simple to use and can be easily customized to fit your website’s needs. The developers behind this plugin seem to be working on a social bar. The future is bright for this plugin.
<div

If you are a WordPress owner, you want to take advantage of some of these tools to solidify your community and get people to interact with Facebook on your blog. Facebook Like Button is a cool new tool that lets your visitors give your blog posts a “like” vote. Of course, the more “like” votes you receive, the better off your website will be.

The process of adding a Like Button to your WordPress blog could not be any easier. Knowing some coding would definitely help, but you certainly do not have to know anything about programming to implement this feature. Facebook gives you the ability to pick your options and grab the code you need to install on your website with a couple of clicks.

The problem with using this interface is that you will have to change the URL code to make it dynamic for your website. In essence, you want to change the code below and add a PHP function to automatically pass your post URL to this code:

That’s where the the_permalink() function comes in handy. Here is how your code would look like after you add the function:

You can also change the background color and do all kinds of cool stuff if you know your CSS (changing background-color option). I do encourage you to change the height of the button if you are using this button on a dark theme. Don’t want to touch your code? Just use Facebook like plugin to get the job done.

It takes less than a few minutes to implement Facebook Like Button on your blog but the potential is limitless. Facebook is quite hot these days, so there is no reason for you not to pounce on it.
<div

It’s an amazing way of bringing the power of Facebook to your blog. Think about it. People being able to comment on your blog with Facebook tracking your latest Facebook visitors. And talk about your visitor’s network. Facebook connect can explode your traffic by leveraging Facebook’s power.

sample code provided by Facebook to implement FB Connect on your WordPress blog. But thankfully, the good guys at Socialable have developed a Facebook WP plug-in that makes things so easy for WordPress users. The plug-in is very easy to use. But you need to watch the video provided by the developers to set up the Facebook side of things. In essence, you need to create an application per blog and use the application and secret keys per application to activate the plug-in.

Once you activate the plug-in, you are going to see the latest visitor from Facebook, and your visitors get to comment on your blog without having to log in. This is a very innovative feature and something that you need to jump on before everyone else does.

Questions? Comments? Share your thoughts.
<div
