Manage WordPress Comments with One Click Close Comments Plugin

September 5th in Wordpress Plugins by .

I don’t know about you but my old posts still get a lot of attention. Unfortunately, some of that attention comes from spammers and junk throwers. Some of these people come to our sites to throw their link and garbage keywords. Closing your comments on older posts is not such a bad idea. You don’t want to close your comments too early. At the same time, if a post is a year old, depending on your niche, you may be better off disallowing comments on it. Some major sites disallow comments on controversial articles. One Click Close Comments is just the plugin to use for these purposes.

One Click Close Comments plugin works like a charm. You can just disable comments right where your posts are listed. Just click on the green sign to disable the comment section in your posts. The red signs mean that visitors won’t be allowed to leave a comment on posts next to them. (more…)
